About Calanit:

The narrow country of Chile was not broad enough to contain the exuberant energy of Calanit. Upon arriving in the U.S., she received her dual masters in Marriage & Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling, and went on to private practice in Miami, while also teaching the life wisdom of Judaism.

She went on to lecture and mentor at Meor at the University of Pennsylvania, and afterwards became the Director of Women’s Education at Meor Harvard, while simultaneously being a research fellow in the areas of Developmental Psychology and Behavioral Economics at Harvard University.

As one of the lead educators in Meor Manhattan and founder of the dating and couples program, Calanit started various initiatives that inspire soulful dating and nurture stronger marriages among young couples.

She now does life coaching in her inimitable way in Miami, FL where she resides with her husband, Rabbi Jack and their children.
